Default Fuel Pump and related part numbers

Paul sent this into me to put in a suitable location:

Fuel pump:

A HFP-382H is a direct replacement for the ST 1300 fuel pump. Depending on where you buy it, it will cost between $70 and $120 dollars.

This pump fits a boatload of Honda motorcycles CBR 600, 929, etc.
This pump also fits a boatload of Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, even the Harley.

It also fits a 2000 Honda Accord 2.3L and a boatload of Honda autos allowing it to be available at your local parts supplier, AutoZone, Checker, etc.

Needed extra parts:
  • Gasket, Base 17574-MN5-000 Highly recommended
  • Fuel, Joint 17545-MCS-G00 Highly recommended
  • Washer, Sealing 90428-PD6-003 Highly recommended
  • Filter, Fuel 16900-MBG-013 Goes without saying
Still no replacement for the OEM fuel filter

Paul

I did this job a few weeks ago with the HFP-382 and new Honda fuel filter. Perfect fit drop-in replacement pump. Since I only want to do this every 125,000 miles or so I replaced the two rubber hoses P/N 16711 and P/N 16712 that connect the pump and filter along with the aforementioned banjo crush washers and base gasket.

EXCELLENT info, thanks Paul, and you too Dave for the confirmation. OEM is $450 at Bike Bandit. I won't even check Honda Canada price , it might cause an aneurysm at my advanced age
