I was searching for some connectors to patch into the front indicator looms when I came across this site which might be of use .

http://www.corsa-technic.com/index.php

These look like they could mate with the diagnostic socket

Having taken pictures of the connections I needed I found identical matches here.

Using a "one-off" 4P connector in a production context makes no sense at all. Has anyone asked Jim Davis at Eastern Beaver if he knows the connector?

Ciao,

Have not looked into Eastern Beaver but that is not a bad idea.

Seeing as though the plug is readily available from Honda for the 03 model, it looks as if the 03 is the only model it did not come on, and inexpensive simply ordering one up on your next parts order might be the quickest and cheapest way to obtain one.

Another word for one-off would be Proprietary and it would not be a stretch to assume test equipment would be proprietary in nature.

Received my connectors from Corsa Technic yesterday and they are an exact match to the front indicator leads, just what I needed which leads me to believe that the link I posted previously on this thread will fit the diagnostic plug at probably a fraction of the cost Honda charge.

Thanks, I thought they looked right, in their catalog.
I wish I had some of these 11 years ago.

Well it took me a few months searching the web and a lot of connectors that said they would fit but didn't so I now have a good collection of spares for other projects.

I did the same thing, trying to find the right pins for my '99 Ford F-250 SD mirrors.
I finally located them and bought a box of 25.

Ford wanted more for one connector, than I paid for the box of 25.
