Default Gaerne Panorama Boots

Received my Gaerne Panorama boots today from Derby Cycle, LLC. Price was $109.99. I looked at several sites and this was the lowest price by several dollars. Fit and finish good; comfortable around the house; size appears to be right. When the earth tilts more toward the sun, I'll check them out on the ST. I thought the price was very good.

Hmm, I thought I was the only one wearing new motorcycle boots around the house whilst the bike is snowbound. It is such a relief to know I am not wack-o

I wear my SIDI's all day at work but, Julie (my wife) makes me take them off when I get home.

Finally got a chance to ride with my new boots--about 1 hour. The temp was 43 degrees and dry. The boots were quite warm and comfortable with a single pair of woolen socks. It took me a few shifts to get used to the different feel of the boot as compared to my usual boots, but nothing too difficult. Overall I'm pleased with the Panorama boots. Can't comment on their waterproof qualities--yet.

One final comment on my Panorama boots: I replaced the stock insoles with a pair of Gel Sport Plus by SOF Comfort ($7.67 at WM)--this is a much improved boot with the new insoles. Rode for a couple of hours today with temps around 41-43 and the boots were quite warm and comfortable.
