Default Oil leak after valve cover removal

At 44,000 mile I performed another valve clearance check on my 03. I installed new cover gaskets as I had a slight oil seepage on the right side. I started it for a test and all ran well. Then after shutdown oil ran out of a small opening next to the water pump. All look sealed on the outside of the new valve cover gaskets. Any ideas to the source of the oil leak? The white hose is a water pump drain hose.

Check the inside edge of the cover to insure the Heat Mat, from the valley in the "V" is not partially caught between the valve casket and the sealing surface.

Been known to happen even those that were careful and checked.

Yes Paul. A visual on the left bank shows the heat mat stuck on the valve cover gasket edge. Now I know where the leaks on top of the motor end up. Thanks again.
