Default Need a top box

Looking for a top box otherwise known as a rear trunk, with a backrest. Will need any necessary attaching hardware also. My '05 has the stock luggage rack only. New wife wants to ride but needs that backrest to maybe quit bonking helmets. New or used, either way.

You do know it does not have to be the Honda box? Both SHAD and Givi make some really nice aftermarket boxes with available backrests.

I knew of Givi but not Shad. Their (Shad's) website took awhile to load but now that I'm there how do I know what size to get? If I get something really big, say the SH50, will it look ridiculous on the bike?

The SH50 will look exactly like:

Personally I think the SH50 is too heavy and too large. It will hold two medium full face or modular helmets.

I like the Givi V47/Givi V46 the best.

Chaissos on this forum has a SHAD SH39 on his ST1300 and it looks really nice.

Bigger holds more, obviously. But bigger also looks...bigger.

I have a Givi E46 and mounting plate for an ST1300 for sale. Unfortunately it's too bulky (read expensive) to ship very far. I'm located in SoCal.

Yes, I do. It never leaves the bike, except for a bath. It'll hold one helmet fine, but not two. With the imitation carbon fiber black cover, it's a perfect match...and thank you again.

Jeff, how much would you want for the Givi and mounting plate? Let me know what shipping would be.
