Default Rain Jacket

For a lightweight rain jacket to wear over my mesh jacket, does anyone have any experience with this one?

I wear an XXL, do I need to upsize, to wear over my jacket?

The CYCLONE H2O is constructed as an ultra-lightweight, compact rain jacket that will fit quickly and easily over any textile or leather jacket, thanks to the non-stick, PVC-free ...

my joe rocket doesn't have a liner either but my Olympia does so I keep the liner from the Olympia in the saddlebag and use it when needed, worked great riding down from clingmans dome earlier this month

I have a few jackets, just need rain covers for the mesh jackets.
I also need rain pants that old people can don, over leather pants.
I have full length zippers in my leather pants and I'm not agile enough, or pain
free enough, to try to squeeze something over them, unless they have some features
that allow it.

More flexible people need not reply.

Flexible I am not.

I've got the Olympia Horizon (or maybe New Horizon) rain jacket and pants. Have used them twice, neither time in a toad strangler but once in prolonged misty / rainy fog and more recently in a gentle shower sort of rain. Exposure was between an hour and three hours.

The pants are easy to put on over jacket and riding pants, and over my boots as well thanks to big velcro closures at the cuffs.

New Horizon jacket

Horizon jacket (now on closeout)

I have First Gear rain gear and it will fit over my riding jacket. No up sizing needed. Did not leak for 8 years of rain riding until a rain I got caught in last May. I had a 6 hour rain ride on the slab 5 years ago and stayed dry. But I water proofed it again and I used it 2 weeks ago and was dry. Also it has a hood that goes under your helmet . Zipper on each leg for easy on an off. They where a little pricey years ago when I bought them. And all good rain gear will need to be water proofed again at some point in time. No signs of wear .

What will you use it for? This is very light duty jacket. Not touring. It is relatively short. No pockets (inside or outside). No hood. No ventilation.

REV'IT sizing is usually "European" tight. See here.
