Default ST1300 saddle bags

Hello I'm looking for the left & right side saddle bags for my ST1300.
The saddle bags on my ST1300 won't open.

Won't open, as in key lost, or something else?

Replacing them will be quite the expensive endeavor. Breaking a part (if necessary) to get them open - and then fixing them - will end up being much cheaper in the long run, I would think.

Locksmith.
Worse case you have to replace the lock assembly and carry two different keys.

What you may have is this.

Spring, Saddlebag Key Guard 81275-MCS-G00
There is one on each saddlebag so if your problem is with both you need to order 2.

Pic 1 - What it looks like.
Pic 2 - What it should look like.
You may be able to straighten it. May be the key phrase.

Or just yank the offending spring out, bin it and carry on.

A locksmith can open it, so you can further investigate the situation.

Hi Paul. Do you have some pictures of how you remove this panel from the saddle bags.
