Default WTB: Upper Cowl Access Cover

I need the right side cover that is just over the head. Lost it on a ride and could not find it. Is not sold separately from the entire upper cowl unit.

If I understand correctly, that part is indeed available individually. It is part 9 in this diagram:

The actual manufacture's part number will depend on the color / year model.

While your there buy two of #29 then get a 5x?mm hex head screw.
Loose the plastic pin and bolt them down and you'll never loose a cover again.

Except, just go to Lowe's (or Home Depot, if you prefer), and get the same thing for a few pennies.

You certainly can and they are cheaper but for the inspection cover you need a much smaller clip nut or the cover sits with a very visual gap.
Most are just to big and Dremeling them in to submission doesn't help much.
One of the rare places on the ST where dainty is required.

They have some very, very small ones. Came across them on accident looking for something else. They're in the big cabinets with the drawers.

I already ordered part #9 and that is just the hard plastic piece that is under the outer cover. The outer cover appears to be part of the whole right side cowling. I can't find a part number for just that piece.
