Default Home made rear rack :)

Hi Guys
The story is simple, I was looking for a rear rack for my ST1300 that would work with the passenger back rest (see the photo below)
but I could not find one that I need and I do not want a top case.
So the next best thing is to build one myself

I'm a tool designer and I have a programming and machining backround plus the company I work for let's me use their equipment (when they are in a good mood lol) so we'll see what will happen,

the back rest has its own plate, the clearance is about 5/8"

New Design

The chips are flying

it's 10:05am right now and the machine is running as I'm posting this
so

TBC

today I will finish the outside contour and just break the edges,
after the weekends test run I will make any needed changes and than chamfer everything and send it to get it anodized

I wish I had that much time to run more, (maybe in future)
even today I'm only doing it on my time: before and after hours
