Default GW Tip over bars installed

Finally got the GW tip over bars installed and I think they look pretty good. Purchased the adapter kit from red dirt cowboy and painted them with the rustoleum flexidip flat black spray paint. Polished the mounting adapters to give it a little extra bang. I think they came out good but interested to see how the paint holds up. I did use a primer designed for chrome so hope it helps.

Very Nice. But why did you have to stand the bike on its nose?

No, no, no....that's what happens when you twist yourself just so from the riders seat.

It raises the area where the bars are installed to a much more accessible height. No crawling around on the floor. I'm just not sure how you get the hook through the rear wheel so the hoist can do its thing.

Now that I am again in "farkle mode", may I ask where you got these and what all did you need to do to "convert" things to fit?

I purchased the bars on EBay and the mounting adapters from red dirt cowboy on this site. I tried squeezing the bars with a vise and mounting them directly to the bike, but I didn't like the look or the angle that the bars were at. The mounting adapters put the bars at a better angle for the passenger foot pegs. I did cut the small tabs from the bars but it's not a requirement.

Looks great, bddo! Lots of adapter kits left but I will be out of town after tomorrow (16th), back 27th if anybody wants to get a set of adapters to do what bddo did.
