Great tires front and rear. I have over 13,000 miles on both of them and hoping to get 2,000 more miles on them before changing them. As most say, watch them closely before they hit the wear bars. Sound like they wear faster as the tread gets closer to the wear bars.

Long term milage report on the 023 GTs. Most of my riding is touring with occassional high speed bending of the speed limit (don't tell my wife). I've had the 023 GTs on both the front and rear of my 05 ST for one year. Because our group takes longer tours, I don't like to wear the tire down to the cord showing, which almost always happens in the middle of nowhere. So I swap out the tires when the wear bar shows. There was some milage left on both tires at the time of the swap.
Front 023 GT: 12,710 miles
Rear 023 GT: 7,612 miles

Hope this helps with anybody considering a tire purchase. Others have given performance evaluations. This report speaks only to milage. Never know what to say about tire performance. I've never had a modern tire that didn't perform well.

I have a 2007 ST. I replaced the original tires at 8,500 miles with PR2's. The PR2's had almost 14,000 miles on them and I had PR3's installed last Saturday. I'm hoping the PR3's do better than the PR2's. Also the PR2's still had some tread left on them but they were pretty flat in the middle. I was pretty happy with them.

Hi all,

Just to close the loop on my review...

After 11,000 fun miles, I am down to the wear bars on the rear 023 GT tire.

The front looks like it would go another 5k with no problem.

Most of my riding has been solo, but a few 2-up trips were unavoidable!.

The rear tire squared off at about 7k miles, and makes a bit of a howl when running on the sidewall now.

My next tire will be... Pirelli Angel GTs front and rear. I've read good things about them, they are load rated for the ST, and I'd like to try a new brand.

Be well and ride safe,
Chris
