Nice. Just ordered some small LEDs I plan to mount on the fork, where the reflectors are now. What mount did you use for the upper set on your bike (they somehow remind me of a missile launcher in that square configuration...) and what are you using for a switch / where's it mounted? I noticed the upper lights were on and the lowers were off.

As noted on another thread about aux lights, my primary motive is increasing conspicuity rather than actual nighttime lighting so I'm thinking of an on-all-the-time setup but it might still be nice to be able to shut them off if desired.

Not sure whether you were asking ChrisCXtreme or me. I have Mondo Motos SE10s @ $39.50 / pair + $6.50 for the surface mount switch on the way.

These are the smaller siblings of the MM10s that Redfish mounted and reviewed a while back.

Hey guys, been sick last couple of days, hence delay in answering
I used the motorcycle Larry under mirror mounts to mount the Dually D2's with driving pattern. The D2's came with all the necessary hardware and switch. Both cost 400.00 and some change. On the forks I have Crees, they are marker lights, have a low,hi, and flashing mode. When I turn them on during the day, there isn't a biker that doesn't turn his head to look at. I love'em. Amazon 50.00 for the pair.

Are the flashing driving lights legal in your state?

I'd need to dig out the Texas code book to be sure but I do not believe they are legal for non-emergency vehicles in Texas.
State laws may vary but the U.S. Code will certainly have something to say about this.

If you give the impression you are a emergency vehicle and you are not serious fines are imposed.

Lights mounted way down on the forks are going to bounce around quite a bit, and you won't have to add anything like a flashing unit to be seen. They're not suspended down there, and hit every bump in the road.

I haven't had any issues with the police. The only issue I've had is people pulling over and getting out of the way. At night I have a great view of the road
