Yeah. Not a bad thought in my opinion. Unfortunately we tried it. The problem becomes the weight of the helmet on the top of the reservoir. I guess we could try again with a material thick enough to lift the helmet off the "knob." It will undoubtedly be the most economical route. Another avenue might be with a gel pad of some sort. Gel wasn't available when last we tried.
