Thought I would update my situation...

Return the Zumo 665 back to the dealer last weekend. He replaced it right away as well as made sure that both the firmware and maps were current.

So far so good.

Now just have to wait for winter to be over before I can try in on the ST.

actual features of the gps is very good, if can work well
