2003 with 83,000k no problems other than an occasional flat tire. Why don't they make run flat motorcycle tires?

HSTASam, we are not requiring a photo, but would like some precision. I'll add you to the list, just provide an exact mileage-thanks!

With about 24,000 miles on my 2004 ST1300, it hardly compares to some of you high mileage guys. But, speaking strictly on be half of a friend of mine, Curt (nick name "crazykz" on ST-Owners.com site), he has a 2004 ST1300. He's one of these Iron Butt guys. I am certain that by now, Curt is pushing the odometer at near 200,000 miles. BTW, his bike is still under warranty!!

Yep, I know Curt.

I'm surprised he has time to ride what, with all the electronic farkling he does.

Saw Curt at the IBA National Meet in Tulsa, OK a few months ago. He was giving some talks on electronic farkling as was a buddy of mine, Mark Reis. Mark does most of my heavy duty electrical wiring stuff (although I do a bit too).

As a matter of fact, Mark and I are going to be getting together to plan out a wiring harness for all the farkles I plan to add this winter. Mark did most of the work on my ST1100 (I called it my "Bat bike").

Tell Curt "hi" for me the next time you see him.

Thanks,
