I would also agree with Red...although I don't know if I'd go so far as a pink Hardley. Pink Wing, maybe...

...and yes...ride, pics, report...

That tagline was what got me firmly kicked off STOners. The fact that I disagreed with him about why it was a valid - and appropriate - tagline probably didn't help.

Are you kidding us? That has got to be the most petty thing I've ever heard of about "Mellow" and his heavy-handed bullshit.

I don't know why so many people stay on that forum.

Sheesh!

I wouldn't kid you. He went so far as to actually block my IP address from the server. Since it changes so often (or did until I switched providers) that was a fruitless effort, but I still can only read the public forums.

I don't even bother trying.

Before I decided to leave for good, he applied the "Miserable User" mod to my account which basically makes the response time of their forum so slow that it is unusable.

He doesn't really have anything that I need to know that I cannot find out on my own forum or the ST-Riders forum (or LDRiders list for that matter).

Glad you came over here. You and Red keep me entertained.

Today is departure day. Probably get a later start than I'd like due to that's just how it seems to go whenever the wife is involved. I have to consciously hide my irritation so's to not set a bad mood from the start. Hope to make Toledo OH before dinner time. That'll be about 500 miles.
I tried to upload an updated pic of my trailer but it's not working on my android phone. I'll try using Tapatalk. No way will I be able to keep rr updated with pics if I can't upload or copy and paste on my phone. Oh I see a file attachment listed at the bottom, maybe thhis will work.

Bon voyage! Here in the mid-Atlantic region, at least, we've had an unusually mild summer and already definite hints of autumn are noticeable (the dashboard thermometer on the bike reported only 57 Fahrenheits yesterday on the ride to work, for example...)

Enjoy the trip.

Have a great trip! Look forward to the write-up, whenever you get to it. I don't believe there's any hurry, but some sort of notepad for yourself to keep everything in your timeline correct will help you greatly, I believe. Keep the shiny side up!

Got a bit of a late start but not as bad as I thought. Of course i had to stop after an hour and discharge the remnants of the morning coffee. Sky is overcast but I think the rain will hold off. uploadfromtaptalk1409411557647.jpg

Ran into just a bit rain riding thru Indiana but no big deal. My first 500 mile day. The wife did great other than one quick nod that bumped my helmet. Good thing we have 5hour energy on tap in the cooler.
Now about that seat...if I had been in a hurry I would have been in a world of hurt. Fortunately my gas stop came just in time to work out the tingles and let the foam recover.

Forgot to mention last night dinner was at Frickers, a sports bar across the street from the comfort inn in perrysburg, oh. Their hot wing quesadillas were a nice new twist. Maybe I live under a rock but why haven't I ever seen those anywhere before? Yum.
