I had a question if you sold your touring blades and--I see you sold them.

Georga dawg -I just realized that I never got back to you on the touring blades, other than to say thanks and everything arrived fine.
I used my heat gun to push the wrinkle and scuffs out of the right side cover, no one has ever noticed what little scuff marks are left. Since the anodizing was faded to purple (MCL must use a rather cheap method of anodizing) I had the pegs sand blasted and powdercoated to match the black ripple effect of the covers. They work just fine for the occasional leg stretch on the highways.

My right MCL Highway peg gets used all the time. Especially when it's warm out. The left one seldom gets used in the city due to stop and go traffic. There great on the highway but you sure notice your MPG drop due to the extra drag of your feet sticking out.

Hey Wally, I'm glad they worked out for you. I'd never really noticed the faded color, I guess because I seldom used them. I like the looks of my bike better without the blades so I think we're both happy.

I'm looking for a set as well. If you know of a source or own a set, please reply and send pictures/price.

Thanks
