Default Windscreen adj. mechanism

Left dog, part that has guide cable runs thru, has about half of that guide broken. This happened after a drop when I didn't put side stand down. Windscreen took a hit from object close by. So there is about a 1" of free play on left while right is tight.

Looking for a mechanism. I have all the brackets for the screen and bolts of course. Even if gear is bad I will replace that.

Yes I can sorta live with it as is or buy a new one but would rather fix at a cost a little easier to swallow.

Let me know.

Thank so much,
Roger

This has been discussed here before.

Only way to fix this (that I know of) is to replace the whole mechanism.

Sorry.

Your best bet would be salvage dealers or E-Bay.
Not a lot of them laying around other than someone parting out a bike.

I realize this part being available is a long shot.....one never knows unless one asks. Over the years dealing with these 2 wheel machines I've been surprised several times when a request goes out and someone somewhere has what is needed. Forums are a great place to start BTW

Thanks

Sure, never hurts to ask.

I think I ended up getting mine from Hondaline Online.
