Hey Guys:

I have the parts ordered to repair the bike mentioned above. On closer inspection to some of the other tupperware on the left side I have noticed a small amount of pavement abrasion on a few spots. Question is: Is there any hope of buffing out the scuff marks using ever finer wet sandpaper and finally rubbing compound and/or Meguire's #7?

Under the color coat is Black.
If you have not gotten into black you have little to lose by trying.
Test on a area not in plane sight, the underside at the front, or under the tip over covers or inside the mirror cover.

Excellent quality, color matched, Touch-up or entire panel.
Lots of good information on surface prep as well.

Skip the Meguire's and go with 3M products
A boatload of 3M stuff will be branded GM, like the auto GM.
Much better stuff.
