Actually, LDComfort attire works a heck of a lot better than UnderArmor.

Shirt, tights, and dew rag really help in both hot temps and cold temps.

It's a two material design where the inner material wicks moisture away from your skin and the outer material holds the moisture, allowing cooling air to evaporate it and cool you off.

In cold weather, it acts like thermal underwear.

I am also a devoted user of LD comfort. I even wear it when not actually riding a motorcycle.

I guess I wasn't clear. This article is often referred to when concerning choice of mesh vs solid textile in heat but it does not include data or a discussion of how a cover layer of technical apparel against the skin changes the rate of water loss compared to bare skin exposed to wind. Without the scientific data I can't be sure but I am confident the comparison would be not be as striking.

Why clutter things up with scientific data when common sense and actual testing can suffice?

Just joking. I know what you mean.

Yes, but what if you are like me and have no scientific data or common sense? And I know there are others here as handicapped as me...

I see you don't care about my feelings...sniff sniff...

The high humidity section of the world where I live has a somewhat different effect than the high desert of Arizona. I am not entirely sure that the same principles apply to every weather and climate.

I think you are right. In the dry south west you can never replace the water fast enough , can lead to dehydration , in the hot humid zones mesh is more likely to be refreshing.
