I just acquired a USA st1300. I live up in Canada, the gauges were in MPH so I found this guy in TN he made up a custom gauge face in KPH changed that ugly orange to blue and the gauge face to white. Ill post more pics once i get them re installed.

I would love to see pics of the finished product installed. That seems like a refreshing update. My compliments for taking on a project like that and for posting it here.

I've seen LED changes, but not the entire face. That sounds interesting. I'll watch for the changed gauge cluster.

How Cool, a new Farkle opportunity after all these years !!

Maybe I can do one with meters per second instead of the usual kph or mph.

One downside to blue instrument lighting is the tendency of the eye to close down the iris a bit more as compared to red / orange. I.e. might reduce one's night vision a little.

As you may know, I had Scott at bluegauges.com do my dash panel in blue along with the LCD reversal.
I can now read the LCD panel in all light (daylight or dark).

I also have my gear position indicator installed with a blue led and with all of the blue in my dash I have not experienced any decrease in night vision.

If It was a problem, the HID headlights will take care of it

I also have an American Model 04 ST 1300 ABS and living in Canada I have not felt the need or desire to change the gauge faces to have the larger numbers (KPH) the dominant ones.

I love the blue on my ST and there are also quite a few blue accent lights in the dash of the 2011 F 1 5 0 I drive.
I'm not buying the blue light being a problem for normal vision.

Yeah, I was always told there was a reason aircraft instrument lighting is principally red/orange. I HATE the blue high beam light in my car and on my bike.
