Just what I was thinking as I have a Givi Top Box mount.

I'm not sure on how the Honda and GIVI trunks mount...but if they mount on top to the grab bar cover and don't hang down the light will work as the only change the light makes is it raises the grab bar cover by 3/16".

With that said if you have to remove the Grab bar cover to install the trunk it will not work.

As you said, you are not sure how they mount.

The Hondaline trunk hangs down over where the light would be and over the grab bar itself.

As I stated before, with the Hondaline trunk, you won't be able to see the light, period.

The Givi trunks may be different because I don't think that they hang down over the bar but, there also may be a fitment issue if the light is too high.

Not sure as I don't have the Givi trunk anymore. I did have one on my ST1100, though. It was a pretty tight fit.

It's still a nice farkle and not everyone has trunks.

This is nice and quite bright at the same time.

I think however that I prefer the LED brake light built into the spoiler on my Honda trunk.

It is plenty bright and is mounted higher as well.

I got a deal on one of those but, I was too lazy to hook up the light.

I know, I'm bad.

You should get on it Joe. It really is a great extra brake light. And really helpful in those early morning rides to work in the dark.

Or anytime in the dark. It grabs their attention when it comes on.

I wired it in with a plug under the seat to unplug it when removing the trunk.
