That part is easy, the part involving cash tends to give me pause

I too have been lured towards another bike. I want to get back into hunting but, I need a good dirt bike that will be able to handle trails and steep terrain.

We (my father and I) used to use Honda Trail 90's but, I switched to a Yamaha TW200. It was ok. Much more comfortable riding.

But, then I discovered the Rokon, a two-wheel drive bike. It was perfect. It could go anywhere. But then, my position got outsourced to India and I had to sell off a bunch of things including all my dirt bikes.

But, now I am thinking of selling my beloved ST1300 to buy another Rokon.

Wish I could afford both but...

As time passes, we all go through changes. Things that were once an overwhelming passion slowly fade into distant memories. If the ST1300 is no longer the focus of your passion, get rid of it and move on. You certainly owe more to yourself than to us, do what makes you happy.
Never run out of traction, ideas and real estate all at the same time.

Enjoyed the narrative.

I wish I could have been there to test the new gen Vmax as well. My Yamaha dealer/owner told me they are seriously detuned and have a lot more on tap if explored. Out of all the bikes he could ride, he choses to ride an older version Vmax like mine. Smart guy!
