Mark, From your profile I didn't know they made an ST1300 in 2001, I have a 2003 that looks just like yours! I don't think Tracy is really No. Ca. Now Chester is No. Ca.

Exclamation Re: NorCal, Tri/Central Valley

Ok, ok and ok... So my Bike is an '03, Tracy is actually Central California and yes, Chester is NORTHERN California...

I fixed profile thanks, although Tracy is Central it is NOT Southern Cal. Clappingand I have never been to Chester. Suppose it's a good time of year for a ride North.

Enjoy your day.

I live in Merced. Not the best time of year for riding although I try to at least run errands on my '05. Imagine, complaining about the weather here when some of the poor guys(or gals) live in places like MN or ND. Former life. Why not Minot? Freezin's the reason. Would like to get together with others in the area next spring, like maybe Feb. (that ought to make 'em jealous) Have a really ridiculous "schedule" as a railroader, on call 24/7. I do try to be flexible when dealing with "normal" humans.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I'd like to try that Sonora pass run with you. Watch this spot for further contact. You know the temps will be in the 70's by late Feb. Eat your hearts out you "rest of the worlders."

I'm located in Cameron Park (Hwy 50, 70 mi. west of S. Lake Tahoe), between Folsom and Placerville. Looking to connect with folks (STs or other) that want to ride this area or possibly connect w/parties for a N. coast run. (Tom 2005 ST1300).

In Miami, people and animals seem to wear jackets, when it's below 70 degrees F.

I turn my heated grips on, when it's below 58 degrees.

If it weren't for the wind, I'd be riding today. Temp is 48 degrees.
The wind is a real turn off, for my riding.
