How tall are you, Blue Streak?

It may be the wrong size AeroFlow. Oops

Paige at AeroFlow has a detailed sizing chart on his web site. Not only how tall you are but, whether you use bar risers and how tall you sit on the bike.

Based upon it, I got the tall version. Perhaps that is what you need too?

Lowered all the way, I get a really stiff blast in my chest and face.

But, if I raise it up a mere 3 - 6 inches, the buffetting around my head and shoulders almost goes away. Adjusting it up a bit reduces the buffetting even more and I'm still looking over the shield. The shield is also six inches wider which helps to eliminate buffeting for the passenger.

If I raise it all the way up so that I am looking through the shield, I get a bubble of silent, still air but, my gas mileage suffers a bit more. Also, I don't really like to look through my windshield. But, I don't have the trouble you do with the compound bends (i.e., they aren't directly in my field of vision).

All that makes me wonder if you just didn't get the right size for your height.

Raised up so I look through it, it was much better, but the weird compound bends cause so much distortion it drives me crazy.

Anyone interested in trying a used, size medium aeroflow?

I run a stock shiels with a laminar lip for summer and around town stuff and a V-stream on long trips.. The V-stream moves all the air away from me but has a very limited "quiet" zone.. The L lip lets more air in and I can run it lower and still get the air flow hitting the top of my helmet as seen by the dead bug pattern on my helmet..

I like both accept the stock shield is pitted to $hiet.........

When is that show? Perhaps you could post details on our forum.

If I can make it (i.e., not teaching and no snow), I'll attend.
