Default LED Replacement Headlight Bulbs

Did a search on this forum. Didn't find much about LEDs more about HIDs and pretty much from about 2012 back.
Quite a few H4 LED replacements on Big A. Reviews varied a lot.
My question...Anyone have any first hand experience with fitting LED H4s into the ST1300 ?
Thanks in advance for any info.

I fitted a set to my 2012 model, make sure you get ones with the fans on the back end. The light output is far superior and requires less power. You may need the H4 adapters in the states as the pin configuration is different to European H4's.

Could you please let me know the brand you purchased?

If its handy a link to the vendor would be nice.

But perhaps you purchased them in a physical store.

In any case thanks for the reply.

After taking a brutal ass whipping changing the bulbs in a friend's '14FJR recently I suddenly have an interest in LED headlights. A LOT of interest.

Tell us more.

Thankfully no pics were taken. I can tell you that the beating took place in Mariposa California and the bike, its owner, and myself had ridden all the way from Louisiana to get there.

The '16 and newer FJRs have LEDs all around. No incandescent bulbs at all. That has its appeal when you are 3000 miles from home.

It was the red one. And once the first bulb burned, the second was gone in less than an hour.

Had a 2006 ST1300 which about two years ago, I installed LED's in the headlights. Low beam reasonable but high beam pretty useless.
Recently purchased a 2013 ST which I have just installed some "generation 5" LED's into. Oh my what a difference. I cannot believe how good they are.
They are adjustable so can be rotated inside the reflector housing to give a clean horizontal cutoff line, and the high beams go forever.
The heat sink is removable so the dust boot can be installed and the heat sink screwed back on after installation. Very easy to do. No fan, just a heat sink. Price was $69.95, hard to beat for the quality.
Came from a company on the web called GENSSILED. Put a .com after it and it should get you there.

It always amazes me when someone goes to the trouble to post some info, but can't be bothered to post a simple link.

I have trouble posting links. Call it ignorance on my part.

FWIW, I appreciate the effort to post the information and can certainly work with that information from there.

And I think that was the man's first post here, I think he should be congratulated for posting something useful, not chastised for not doing all the work.
