Default Hello Everyone

New 2006 ST1300 owner! Bought it to do some more comfortable long distance trips with my wife. Have a 2000 Suzuki SV650 that I will probably put up for sale and see if anyone takes it or keep it since its a fun, cheap bike to throw around corners and I have learned a lot on it.
Started on some old 1980s enduros when I was 22 and have learned a lot from experiences. Never dropped a bike but a good number of learning experiences.

Excited to start putting some miles on the ST and looking at a new windscreen so the wife isn't getting blown around on the highway and to decrease that strange 'back pressure' I've never felt before. All my previous bikes were/are naked so a windscreen is new for me. Also looking at grabbing a Russell seat possibly to stay happy.

Welcome to our forum and good luck with the big ST. I am guessing this is a little adjustment in weight and size for you.

Hello and welcome. I'd keep the SV, its very handy having a lighter smaller bike for messing around on, as for throwing round corners, well wait till you have spent a bit of time on the ST, you will be amazed.

Welcome to the forum. You will be impressed by the great technical knowledge of some individuals here. This is THE source of information for your ST.

That strange 'back pressure' you are experiencing is your wife smacking you, when you do something she doesn't like.
