Being on old low tech fart, I don't get it. I have been keeping track of my records for over fifty years. A note pad and a pen works just fine.

Unfortunately, low tech, for me, means losing something. On my servers, I can manage all my documents. On paper, I lose just about everything. Since ~1993 I have every (real, not spam) e-mail I've ever gotten, all my old tax information, all my house information for all the properties I've lived in or owned, all records for all our vehicles and sales receipts and logs for said vehicles. All electronic, all in folders that make some sort of sense (to me and the wife, anyway). We don't even use paper for bills anymore. The majority of paper that comes through the mail is spam and goes into the recycle bin. All my appointments are on my computer, important notes, contacts and their addresses along with important information (like birthdays, extreme like/dislikes, etc), and consequently they're mirrored in my phone.

Yeah, I don't do paper very well.
