Ok, I may get smacked by someone, but here goes...

There are some folks who are diligent about using someone's ideas, crediting that said someone, paying them royalties if required, and making those facts known to the public.

Then there are those who take others' ideas, claim them as their own, ignore complaints and pay no royalties.

I don't think I could put it any more nicely than that. Use your imagination from here.

For the USA Map, MyTriplogs. It's free. Create an account, and go for it. I copy the picture, save it, shrink it down, and put it in my signature block.

I didn't name anyone, didn't point any fingers, didn't even call anyone out. All that is very abnormal for me, so I think I did fairly well - not really worth smacking the post down. Of course, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it all out, but that was the point.

I have an e-mail out the the fabricator (not the creator) of the original ST wings, and if I hear back, I'll cross post that bit here somewhere. I want to get a set...really, I do. I just want to spend the money where credit is due. I only know a fraction of the whole story, I'm sure, but I'll do what I can to give credit where it's due.

Reviving an old thread...

I just ordered from Premier Cycle Accessories two sets of reflective decals. One set for my ST, one set for Dad's FJR. If I wanted, I could have ordered a second or third set to go over these with the Brand Name of the bike, the logo, or whatever combo I wanted. You start off with the base layer and add logos if you like.

I have a couple of pics which to me show the tremendous safety improvement. This is a very cheap and almost unnoticeable modification. It is only obvious when in a vehicle's headlights.

These pics say it all for me.

I just ordered a set from California Sport Touring. One has to ask, do these decals make my asST look fat? ....and hope the answer is 'yes'! Congratulations on your recent acquisition, may you both be be abundantly conspicuous.
