Default Bleeding brakes on a ST1300A

Hi guys, sorry if this is in the wrong place but I wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of a good thread/write up about bleeding brakes here.

Get the factory shop / service manual. There is a very specific sequence that must be followed and the shop manual does a good job of laying it all out.

Hi Rob. This forum has an excellent search facility and almost all questions that can be asked have already been answered at some point. Here is a thread on Brake Bleeding procedures:

http://www.st1300.us.com/showthread....light=bleeding

That thread might not be up to date but I used the word 'bleeding' in the search box and there are several relevant threads in there that might help you a little.

Send me your email address and I'll reply with an excellent tutorial someone wrote up years ago specifically for the ST1300. For me it was much easier to use than the service manual and I'm one of the first to send someone to the service manual.

Dave, thank you for that.
Bikings great, the most helpful bunch of blokes you can meet, even across the Atlantic, people you have never met prepared to help each other out, just love it.

Hi Dave, I am a new st1300a 2009 owner. I am about to attempt to change brake fluid on my bike. Could you send me that tutorial also?
Thanks, Bill
