You think it can get irritating here?

Phffft!

Try being on the LDRider email list since 1997. We have a running joke about posting schedules as in, "Isn't it time for the oil thread", or "isn't the tire thread due about now".

LOL

This place is a piece of cake compared to LDRider.

HOWEVER! It is one of the rules that we are not supposed to berate our fellow members for asking these questions. Since that is how The Management wants it, I abide by it.

This place is also a piece of cake compared to the FJR forum. This is a much kinder and gentler place.

FWIW, There are many levels of irritation. I find it mildly irritating when someone does not show enough respect to search around a little for their answer. I find it mildly irritating when they just ask the question because THEY don't have the energy/time/respect to look for an answer that has been posted dozens of times.

I get so happy when I read that others are irritated by my irritation that I am no longer irritated. I find their irritation to be a form of liberation.

With regards to "No compulsory answer rule", I would rather answer their questions than not. After all, this forum is supposed to be an exchange of information. I would rather give them their information and continue the legacy of this wonderful forum.

But never hostile toward you my grouchy old friend!

Besides that, Zldrider won't tolerate hostility.
