Could this be a possible solution to the high speed wobble?

Hmmm...

Someone needs to test it out.

Perfect match to fin's helmet

Wonder how it will react in strong side wind and into dirty air behind or passing a semi trailer on hyway

Looks like a good way to cause a problem at high speed/high wind/tractor trailer situations to me.

Of course I have never tested it.

But I'll leave the testing to others...

Sure. But that's not a real world situation. That is fighting a 25 mph cross wind or getting buffeted by a semi's turbulence at 80 mph.

What happens then?

Maybe it works.

But something tells me that's wishfull thinking.

There he goes again, "The sky is falling...".

I don't think it is large enough to matter, Echo. I mean, the bike itself gets buffeted already in those instances, yes. But that little, tiny protuberance wouldn't matter much.

I can see why it works better. It is a small surface splitting up the air and funneling it around the bike (which has more surface area). Since it is being funneled around the bike, less turbulence and less drag (plus, less air into the wheel well area).

I might just try one.

I was thinking that two small protuberances (similar but smaller) on either side of the bike just in front of the opening under the seat might be enough to disrupt the air there and suck the hot stuff (that hangs around our calves) away from our legs. Thus, decreasing the heat we feel.

They're putting a sail on the front fender. Then theyre testing it in in a wind tunnel where non turbulent wind comes at the bike only from the front.

Others took note of that also.

I'm reminded by things in the owners manual of motorcycles where they warn against modifications causing fatal problems.

Like I said maybe it works.

As long as it doesn't kill anybody Im all for it!

Your GROM isn't fast enough to test it.
