The "lighter Look" of the ByDawg bars is deceptive.
They are solid bar stock, not tubing, and mine survived a 30mph and 30 yard slide with only a scuff of the powder coat.
The engine guard and it's cover did not survive The Test.
The engine guard is tubing and it was ground through with about a one inch hole on it's outer edge.
You can't expect to hit ground and slide one at 30mph without damage and in it's defense the engine guard did it's job very well and although it gave it gave the last full measure of devotion it kept expensive parts from contacting the cheese grader we call asphalt in my part of the world.

The ST's owner protection package is second to none.
I scuffed my Motoport pants at the hip.

The bike was ridden home where I apologized profusely and ordered up parts.
Seven days later there was no evidence the event took place.
