Anyone want to take over the forum?

Hi guys,

As you know, I no longer own an ST1300 or ride street bikes.

Also, our forum participation has slowly been declining over the last year or two. So, I've been thinking that if someone wanted to take this forum over, I would be amenable to that as I just do not have the time to devote to it anymore.

Any takers?

ping me privately or email me at jzulaski@hotmail.com.

Costs for the site provider is approx. $150/year and for the domain name is about $110 (I think). I'll have to check to be sure.

Cost of putting up with all you yahoos is incalculable. ;-)

You crack me up

I hope you get some interest Joe. No takers out there?
Personally I don't have the time nor inclination to do it plus the fact, I feel the ST may soon be going, that said I have enjoyed being part of 'here' with the exception of the odd fool... fool... fool...

With respect to the US market the ST is already gone, 4 years now... :( Having said that, they'll still be on the roads for years to come.

I thought about it, but i really just don't have the time - at least not right now. I might have to time to help with admin duties, but even that seems questionable at the moment. Not familiar enough with vbulletin, either, so that would require time to learn...argh!

You'd get my vote. If you put your money where your mouth is you wouldn't post all that wind up shit, you would need a sense of customer relations.

Re: Anyone want to take over the forum?

So, it looks like I'll be turning things over to the admin for the ST-Riders.net forum, Tom Melnik.

He'll save any photos and articles from our forum to theirs and eventually close down our forum.

I did want to say what a great group of folks you are and that I really enjoyed associating with you all. Clapping1

I'm going to leave the forum up and running for the next few months or so as I don't know how long it will take Tom to do what he'll do.

So, feel free to use it to chat if you like.

If you need me, you can reach me at jzulaski@hotmail.com

Best regards,

Thanks Joe and your efforts have been appreciated, I have enjoyed my albeit short time here.

Thanks Joe, sad to see the forum closing down but I guess with the discontinuance of the ST series by Honda, it was inevitable. I'm glad that this group will be absorbed by another forum and not just lost though.
